     EL6C Compact EverLite
     Operating Instructions

Your Everlite™ comes plugged into the Solar Panel.   The removable Lamp Base contains rechargeable NiMH batteries.  Due to shipping & on-shelf times, a few hours of sunlight charging before the first time you use your Everlite™ will make sure you get full LED brightness.

1. The Everlite™ LED Lamp Head is turned off when folded down. This makes for a compact and portable light source. The Everlite™ is easy to take camping, hiking, boating, backpacking, for your patio or porch at home, or for emergency lighting, like changing a car tire after dark.

2. To remove the Lamp Base from the Solar Panel, simply raise the Lamp Head (2a) and slide the Lamp Base out of its tracks on the back of the Solar Panel (2b).

NOTE: The back side of the Lamp Head contains a photocell that provides automatic dusk-to-dawn operation.  Your LED light will turn OFF in the daytime and will turn ON, either at night, or if you cover up the photocell to simulate darkness.

3. Your Everlite™ comes with a power cord that can be unwound from the corner hooks, as needed. To recharge your Everlite™, orient the Solar Panel to the South, and adjust the panel at about 45° from horizontal, in full sun if possible. With only about 3 hours of sunlight or 10 hours of light gray solid overcast sky, your Compact Everlite™  will operate at full LED brightness for about 6 hours.

You can even get good results with the Solar Panel on a windowsill or dashboard of a car, RV, or motorhome. Use the adjustable U-Frame bracket to mount your Solar Panel almost anywhere. With the detachable U-Frame, your Everlite™ Solar Panel will stand upright (3a), or can be mounted on a fence or wall (3b) with screws or nails.

4. Your Everlite™ is completely portable. Just detach the LED Lamp from the Solar Panel and take it where you need light. You can hang it on a wall (4a) and adjust the Lamp Head as desired, or place it on any flat surface (4b).
